Story world aspects:
The location of countries, cities, rivers, mountains, lakes, etc. The natural features (such as rivers, mountains, etc.) of a place.
Region with particular weather patterns or conditions. The usual weather conditions in a particular place or region.
- Cultural groups
Ethnic group – people of the same race or nationality who share a distinctive culture.
The study of past events, events of the past, past events that relate to a particular subject, place, organization, etc.
The process or system by which goods and services are produced, sold, and bought in a country or region.
Activities that relate to influencing the actions and policies of a government or getting and keeping power in a government. The work or job of people (such as elected officials) who are part of a government. The opinions that someone has about what should be done by governments. A person’s political thoughts and opinions.
- Social structures
The system of socioeconomic stratification (e.g., the class structure), social institutions, or, other patterned relations between large social groups.
The system of words or signs that people use to express thoughts and feelings to each other. Any one of the systems of human language that are used and understood by a particular group of people. Words of a particular kind.
The beliefs, customs, arts, etc., of a particular society, group, place, or time.
A particular society that has its own beliefs, ways of life, art, etc. A way of thinking, behaving, or working that exists in a place or organization (such as a business).
Knowledge about or study of the natural world based on facts learned through experiments and observation. A particular area of scientific study (such as biology, physics, or chemistry). A particular branch of science. A subject that is formally studied in a college, university, etc.
The use of science in industry, engineering, etc., to invent useful things or to solve problems. A machine, piece of equipment, method, etc., that is created by technology.
